About us
Hello, my name is Sharon
I set up Basil’s Farm after 20 years of working in a Special School and teaching in the outdoors. I have seen first-hand the incredible benefits that outdoor learning can have on a learner’s physical and mental wellbeing.
Learning at Basil’s Farm is specifically tailored to suit an individual’s needs, and a typical day can involve a diverse range of activities.
Through my love of the outdoors, I encourage learners to use real-life situations when working with the animals, to develop their confidence and self esteem. I am a qualified Forest School Level 3 Leader and am fully insured, DBS checked, trained in Safeguarding and am a qualified First Aider.
